Enhancing the Student Contribution to the Bologna Process

2008 - 2010

In the past few years, important steps have been made forward to the recognition of students as a key actor in higher education reform. As members of commissions on national reform such as the Bologna Follow-Up Group or quality assurance mechanisms, or also as members of governing boards of higher education institutions, they have proven to be an important factor in implementing real reforms on all levels. By integrating the student voice, the reforms have gained momentum, and increased in quality, as feedback from the classroom has increased.

Advancing Educational Inclusion and Quality in South-east Europe

2007 - 2010

The project Advancing Educational Inclusion and Quality in South East Europe is a international research project supported by Open Society Institute Education Support Programme. The project will take three years, divided into two phases of approximately 18 months each. It correspondes to the decision of OSI-related representatives of 10 SEE countries (Albania , Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania and Serbia) who identified the following common priorities that should be addressed by OSI in the region:

Project in cooperation with FEPS (Foundation of European Progressive Studies) in Tankesmedjan, Sweden. Skills and human capital are of great importance for prosperity and social cohesion. All over the world, policy-makers have realised this and invest heavily in education to boost their competitiveness. This poses a number of questions for us as Europeans.

Thematic review of Tempus Structural Measures

2007 - 2008

The main objective has been to review all Tempus SM projects financed under Tempus III, to analyse them by leading policy themes as well as by their contents and to draw conclusions on their particular impacts. The report relates them to the current higher education policy goals, reforms and developments in the partner countries and seeks to assess their contribution to the implementation of these goals in respective institutional, national as well as regional environments.

Promoting Bologna Process in Kosovo

2006 - 2007

CEPS' was grant-holder of the project. Other members of project consortium were: University of Prishtina, Minsistry of Education, Science and technology Kosovo, and University of Peloponnese, Greece. Main achievement affecting the sustainability of the project outcomes, is the approval by the Ministry of Education Kosovo of the policies developed within the framework of the project. These documents, developed through a process with wide participation, were approved as official ministry policies and guidelines by Minister of Education, Science and Technology.

Program izhaja iz teoretičnih spoznanj o potrebnosti interdisciplinarnega lotevanja vprašanj strategij edukacije in spodbujanja socialne vključenosti v vzgoji in izobraževanju (v skupini so zastopani strokovnjaki iz naslednjih strok: psihologija, socialna pedagogika, sociologija, filozofija, pedagogika in defektologija).

Mapping of European Social Sciences and Humanities

Mapping of Research in European Social Sciences and Humanities (MORESS) je skupni projekt EUA (European University Association) in 24 univerz iz različnih evropskih držav pod okriljem 5. OP. Osnovni cilj projekta je, da številne in različno strukturirane vire informacij o raziskovanju v družbenih vedah in humanistiki poveže v integrirano strukturo, ki bi jo lahko uporabljali vsi zainteresirani raziskovalci in ki bi tako okrepila kakovost evropskega raziskovanja v prihodnje.

EDC-QA projekt je projekt Pakta stabilnosti (Razširjenega Graškega procesa) in UNESCO-a. Cilj je razviti sistem zagotavljanja kvalitete za izobraževanje državljanske vzgoje v jugovzhodne Evrope. Strategija projekta je povezovanje z ministrstvi za šolstvo v državah jugovzhodne Evrope in spodbujanje njihove odločilne vloge v projektu in vzpostavljanju zagotavljanja kvalitete.
