The purpose of the project is the development of didactic approaches and strategies as well as a supportive environment and thus a model of promoting entrepreneurship in primary schools, aimed at implementing an open and flexible transition between education and the environment. Within the framework of the model, young people gain experience to increase their employability, and the project mainly aims to develop entrepreneurship and creativity and to implement concrete projects in partnership with the school and the environment, with the research sector, with social partners and non-governmental organizations. The development model includes the development of new pedagogical strategies and forms of work in the framework of which professionals will carry out activities that contribute to the development of key competences in accordance with the Recommendations of the European Parliament and the Council on key competences for lifelong learning.
As part of the project, the monograph Thinking Social Innovations (orig. Misliti socialne inovacije) and an online repository of social innovations with the same purpose were also created. Both represent a wide variety of presented innovations, a variety of fields in which an attempt is made to answer the problems of a certain time, period, and also in terms of geographical dimensions. Lists of social innovations from Slovenia, Finland and some other European countries, as well as more information, can be found at www.socialneinovacije.si or at https://www.zrss.si/objava/projekt-pogum.
