We invite you to the April seminar of School Field, where we will meet again with a foreign guest, this time a particularly interesting one. This time we will be visited by Amy Skiner (researcher at the Development Education Forum of Concord – European Confederation of Development NGOs, Brussels), who has recently dedicated herself to some aspects of the education system in Slovenia.
Two reasons led us to invite her to the seminar: on the one hand, the well-known curiosity, “how someone from the “outside” sees us”, and on the other, the curiosity, “how a researcher of the (youngest) generation sees it”. In the introductory part, she will present the findings from her thesis entitled How is Global Education Perceived and Implemented within Two Secondary Schools in Slovenia (she defended it at the London Institute of Education (MA Development Education) last September); we are also publishing it on our website. After the introductory presentation, there will be a discussion, as usual, in which we will be able to ask questions and seek answers to this or any other topic together with our guest. The seminar will be held in English.
