Ellen Hazelkorn: How Rankings are Reshaping Higher Education

Nov 2011 | School Field Seminar

We invite you to the Scholski polje seminar in November, where we will focus on the extremely topical issues of the international ranking of institutions in higher education, which excites not only universities, students and their employees, but also the general public. We will have a unique opportunity to discuss this with Irish researcher Prof. Ellen Hazelkorn (Dublin Institute of Technology), who is one of the central researchers of the phenomenon of university rankings and who will present her new book entitled Rankings and the reshaping of higher education: the battle for worldclass excellence (Palgrave Macmillan, 2011) in the opening lecture.

We are sure that, as usual, the introductory lecture will be followed by a lively discussion in which we will ask questions and seek answers together with our Irish guest.
